During my blog hopping the other day, I came across another fantastic blog called Crafts By Kim. Before I could really look through her blog, my attention was captured by the first entry on the top of her blog called Blog Candy For A Cause. As I read on, my heart was filled with sadness as I read about a familiar crafter on Split Coast Stampers who recently lost her three year old son Henry suddenly to a viral infection. I can't imagine the pain and sorrow that would accompany the death of a child especially at such a young age. My heart fell to pieces for Sarah and her family. Because we as stampers/scrappers really are our own little family it is important that we embrace each other. Therefore, Kim is calling for an outpouring of love and support by making a card and sending it to her in which she will then forward a package to Sarah. So I decided to make a card for her. I did want to keep it simple
and pretty so i decided to use this stamp from the greeting farm.
Would you like to show your support to our fellow stamper friend during a time of sorrow? Just follow this link for all the information.

Your card is lovely. Such pretty and gentle coloring.
I'm not quite able to make my own cards yet (it's a new thing for me), but I did buy the stamp that will go towards planting a tree in Henry's memory.
Thank you Amy! I would like to figure out a way to make my pictures nicer so that the true colors shine through.
Buying a stamp for the tree is such a thoughtful memoir for Henry =)
April~
Such a beautiful and sweet card! Thank you so much for joining my blog candy for a cause to show our love and support for Sarah and her family! You are right we are a unique family through our hobby of crafting and I am so thankful to have so many kind, thoughtful, and caring friends (even being states/countries away from each other)!
Thanks again~
Big Hugs~ Kim
